Maskless as a symbol of power

During his latest construction site visit, maskless Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin was surrounded by masked builders and district representatives. It’s clear who’s in charge:

The more power, the less masked: Russian president Vladimir Putin didn’t wear a mask even a single time during the pandemic. He can afford doing so: the few people with whom he comes into close contact are tested, quarantined, and disinfected.

Not wearing a mask around other people either means being privileged or being stupid.

The icons are jelly and that’s annoying:

Oh, there’s a portal in the fountain at Apple Park.

The Mac is moving to Apple-made processors for top performance. This is good news.

iOS & iPadOS apps run on the Mac without any changes needed. Catalyst was a short-term thing.

Instead of credits at the end there’s an assurance that Apple took care so nobody would get infected. Sign of the times:

The empty-space-to-the-right issue has been solved. My project illustrations now take up almost the entire screen width. Looks stunning:

I’m deeply saddened by the reality of affirmative action in the United States.

I will do everything possible to make sure that this never happens in the countries I live in.

I do not trust Elon Musk. And I didn’t even mention the overpriced Tesla stock tweets.

Just updated my website. Each project now has a stunning image:

Why online public school won’t last

I’m entering week three of online school, the best school experience I’ve ever had.

But it will end once the quarantine ends. Online lessons cancel borders, therefore potentially reducing future tax revenue. It’s not worth it for a country to educate somebody without getting anything in return.

A short message for Bill Gates

Bill, please don’t let the tinfoil fringe elements take advantage of you. I perfectly understand your motives, but it would be much better if you didn’t laugh or smile in questionable circumstances.

The 19th Covid

Kellyanne Conway recently mentioned that Covid-19 was the 19th Covid. This gaffe was caused by poor naming: the disease should have been called Covid-2019.

Physical distancing

The world doesn’t need any social distancing. In fact, we should narrow social gaps in a world that is being divided by cults pretending to be good causes.

Standing four and a half metres from the next person in line should be called physical distancing.
