I have flipped many views since 2019, but not those concerning death sentences. Yet I do have a couple of nuances to add.

1. It is morally acceptable to charge a criminal with a death sentence. But it can go thru only if he agrees to it.
2. Sociëty gains more by keeping madmen in jail rather than executing them — studying psychosis can help stave off new cases.
